POLICE and the family of 50-year-old Mark Dinsmore from Bushmills are continuing to appeal for information on his whereabouts, and are today releasing an updated image of him.
Mark was last seen at around 6pm on Saturday evening, 24th October, when he was involved in a road traffic collision in the Ballybogey Road area of Ballymoney.
There are serious concerns for his welfare, as he may have sustained injures during this collision and has not been in contact with family or friends since.
Mark is described as being approximately 5ft 8in, of medium build, with short dark hair, and was dressed in a red coat, white t-shirt, jeans and white trainers.
Causeway Coast and Glens District Chief Inspector, Clare Willis, said: “The community will see us on the ground as our enquiries continue, alongside voluntary search and rescue partners. We want to thank everyone who has come forward with information so far, and we now want to appeal directly to anyone who may have been in the Ballymoney area at the time of this collision. Mark was driving a grey Audi A4. Even a seemingly insignificant piece of information could help.”
If you have seen Mark, or if you have any information about his whereabouts, police would ask you to contact them via 101, quoting reference number 431 of 25/10/26.
We would also ask that people living in these areas check any outbuildings, sheds, unoccupied or derelict buildings that may be accessible.
