Bathshack Antrim SHC final postponed

Sunday’s Bathshack Antrim Senior Hurling Championship final between Cushendall and Dunloy has been postponed.
The great north Antrim rivals were due to meet in Ballycastle this Sunday afternoon but the game has now been put back a week because of concerns about the weather.
“Due to the issued weather warning and to ensure the safety and well being of our patrons, Sunday’s Bathshack Antrim Senior Hurling Championship final has been postponed until Sunday November 1,” said an Antrim GAA spokesperson.
“The safety of everyone attending is out top priority.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding and co-operation.”
According to the BBC, strong winds of up to 75mph could cause disruption across parts of Northern Ireland this weekend as Storm Boelo moves in.
A Met Office weather warning has been issued from 18:00 BST on Saturday until 15:00 GMT on Sunday.
