I am currently a sports journalist working for the Belfast News Letter, covering a variety of sports but specialising in Irish League football and cricket.
From Armagh, I joined the company on a full-time basis in January 2023 having previously spent time freelancing during my time in university and after graduating with a first class honors degree in Sports Journalism from the University of Gloucestershire.
During my time with the Belfast News Letter so far I've produced stories on a range of topics from the period current New Zealand coach Scott Robertson spent playing club rugby in Northern Ireland, what it's like for an Irish League football manager when results aren't going your way, the role of a number two goalkeeper and also enjoy highlighting achievements of teams and players lower down the football pyramid, including when this team went unbeaten throughout an entire season!
Away from the office, sport continues to play a big role in my life, whether that's watching Manchester United or playing cricket, badminton or tennis. I also enjoy spending time with friends and am an avid cinema goer.
