ANOTHER week of sports across the Borough is brought to you once again by the Coleraine Chronicle.
As always, starting from the back page - Coleraine FC have signed a new defender from Derry City on a season-long loan ahead of Saturday's start of the season against Irish Cup runners-up Dungannon Swifts. County Antrim fell short at the last hurdle for a Boys Premier Win in the SuperCupNI, whilst Ballymoney's Gary Kelly earned a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.
Football
Coleraine made their exit from European football after an 8-0 aggregate finish against HJK Helsinki after being defeated 3-0 at Inver Park on Thursday evening, a disappointing result for CFC and the supporters, but all focus now turns to the League, whilst the U20s defeated Portstewart over the weekend in the Wesley Gregg Memorial Cup
GAA
The Division One Title race looks like it will go down to the wire, which looks to be between Slaughtniel and Glen - a slip by either will prove to be fatal. Whilst in Division Two, Banagher have the Title wrapped up, but seek to earn more.
Golf
We have three pages of golf that cover results across the courses, which include the report and pictures of the 'close to 250 members and guests' of Portstewart Golf Club teeing off at their Captain's Day
For full reports and pictures of sporting events across the Borough, see this week's Coleraine Chronicle.
